How we collect, use and protect your personal data when you contact us or use this website. Written in plain English because that's how we'd want to read it.

1. Who we are

Eternia Digital is a trading name of APX Studios Ltd, company number 16994537, registered office 22 Fairfield Walk, Ossett, WF5 0ED, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law, APX Studios Ltd is the data controller. The two people who handle your data are Nicky and Vicky Stokes.

2. What we collect

When you contact us, enquire about our services or become a client, we may collect:

Your name
Email address
Phone number
Business name and location
Details of your enquiry or project

This website itself does not collect anything about you. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no tracking of any kind. Our web host keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security, as every host does.

Managing the work and keeping in touch with you about it

We don't send newsletters or marketing emails, and we don't add you to any list.

5. Legal basis

We process personal data only where UK data protection law gives us a valid basis: our legitimate interest in replying to you and running the business; performing a contract with you; complying with legal obligations; and consent, where that applies.

6. Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the business, and only what they need:

Our web hosting provider
The service that delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox
Our email provider
Our accountant and accounting software

We never sell personal data, and we don't pass your details to anyone for marketing.

7. International transfers

Some of those providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we use providers that rely on approved contractual protections or an equivalent lawful transfer mechanism.

8. How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and afterwards for as long as accounting and legal rules require.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we process it, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email us and we'll sort it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
